Your First Visit
Everything you need to know before you sit down.
When You Arrive
Arrive about 10 minutes early for your first visit. Check in at the front desk or the iPad and let them know who you're there to see. They'll let your stylist know you're ready and offer you a water or coffee while you wait.
Every Visit Starts with a Consultation
Before your appointment, your stylist will reach out to you by text to start the conversation about your hair. They'll ask about your goals, your history, and what you're looking for. By the time you sit down, they already have context. You'll still talk through everything together at the start of your appointment, look at photos, and confirm the plan. But the heavy lifting happens before you arrive, not while you're in the chair.
Bring Reference Photos
Photos are the fastest way to get on the same page with your stylist. Save 3-5 images showing different angles of the look you want. Try to pick photos of hair that matches your texture and density. Your stylist will let you know what's achievable and suggest adjustments if needed. Even a general direction is better than “I don't know, just do something different.”
How to Prepare Your Hair
Come with clean, dry hair. Skip styling products, dry shampoo, and leave-in conditioners so your stylist can see and work with your natural texture. This applies to every service.
What to Wear
Wear something comfortable, especially for longer services like color or extensions. A button-down or zip-up top is ideal so you don't pull anything over your styled hair when you leave. For color appointments, avoid white or new clothes. A cape covers you during the service, but accidents happen.
How Long to Budget
Haircuts run about 45 minutes to an hour. Color and highlights run 2-3 hours. Balayage can take 3-4 hours. Extensions run 2-4 hours depending on the method. Your stylist will give you a time estimate when you book.
Not Sure What You Want?
That's completely fine. A lot of first-time clients walk in without a plan. Your stylist will ask the right questions and make recommendations based on your hair, your face, and your lifestyle. You don't need to come in with a Pinterest board. You just need to show up.
