Profound Ponytail
Ryann had a realization in the third grade. Looking in the mirror, she realized her ponytail was better than the one her mom usually did. It was then Ryann chose to be a hairstylist. She wanted to make people feel more confident. Her favorite thing about her career is new friends and making their hair dreams come true.
Triple License
Ryann has studied and earned licenses in three states. Utah, Idaho, and Nevada. She went to school at Paul Mitchell in Utah, trained under her Idaho salon owner for four years, and then moved to Las Vegas to work at The Hair Standard. Ryann loves learning. She frequently attends hair shows and classes.
Fun Fact: Vegas is her favorite because there is no snow!
Blonding
Some of the most gratifying work moments for Ryann are in the big blonding reveals. She loves how every blonding service is different. She particularly enjoys the technically demanding aspects like sectioning and toning.
Extensions
Beyond blonding, extensions are Ryann’s favorite. She likes how extensions can completely change someone’s look. The extra volume of brand new hair gives a client so much extra confidence.
Balayage
Ryann enjoys a hand-painted balayage. The open-air aspect and final look are refreshing. But, it’s the low-maintenance grow outs that get her extra excited. She said, “I love seeing a client’s balayage six months later, and it’s still pretty.”
Love From the Heart
Because of her love for hair, Ryann has come to enjoy learning and trying new things. She loves the creative freedom that being a hairstylist gives her and the looks she creates are jaw-dropping.
Tomboy or Girly Girl?
Ryann loves to do anything outdoors. Camping, swimming, hiking, rock climbing – you name it. But on the flip side, she also loves “spending money.” She can shop like no other. She also enjoys making and designing clothes. So what do you think? Tomboy or girly
