Jayde’s interest in the beauty industry began in high school, where she enjoyed creating makeup looks for her friends. Though she initially enrolled in cosmetology school with a focus on makeup, her passion quickly shifted when she discovered a love for hair, especially coloring. This pivotal moment set her on the path to becoming the skilled stylist she is today, blending her creativity with a deep appreciation for the art of hair.
Jayde’s educational journey is a testament to her commitment to growth. After graduating from Paul Mitchell in 2016, she dedicated over a year to an intensive assistantship, where she continued to hone her skills through additional classes. As a commission stylist and later as a booth renter, she consistently prioritized her education, attending classes led by industry professionals. Now working independently, Jayde stays current by seeking out new courses and educational videos to ensure her techniques are always fresh and relevant.
The most important lessons Jayde has learned throughout her training are the mastery of color techniques and the importance of client communication. She understands that achieving the perfect blonde requires a deep knowledge of formulas and tones. Equally crucial is her ability to have open, clear conversations with her clients. This ensures she fully understands their vision, allowing her to deliver the exact look they’re hoping for with confidence and precision.
